Durango Code vs Synara
Synara is a free, open-source (MIT), local-first desktop app for running coding agents, built on T3 Code's codebase. It supports a long list of agent runtimes, including Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode, Antigravity, Grok Build, Devin CLI and Factory Droid, with managed worktrees, provider handoff, browser previews and automations. It describes itself as early-stage.
Durango Code is also free and MIT-licensed. It runs Kimi Code too, lets threads spawn subagents on other providers, and comes with Durango Cloud repos, tasks, remote control between your machines and memory shared with Durango Chat.
