Durango Code vs Windsurf

Windsurf, Cognition's AI code editor, was renamed Devin Desktop in June 2026. It's an editor with an Agent Command Center that runs its own Devin Local agent and can hand sessions to Devin in the cloud. It can also host other agents, including Codex, Claude and OpenCode, through the Agent Client Protocol (ACP).

Durango Code is built only around running other providers' agents: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Grok, Kimi and OpenCode side by side, with cross-provider subagents, on your existing subscriptions, in a free, open-source app.
